Patricia Kearns, PT

President & CEO QLI

Patricia Kearns currently serves as the President & CEO of QLI, a nationally recognized post-hospital rehabilitation center for individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries.

Patricia, a physical therapist by training, joined the clinical team at QLI in 2001. Her leadership style and relentless drive for clinical excellence earned her a leadership role overseeing the implementation and growth of QLI’s proprietary clinical model, Tri- Dimensional Rehabilitation®. In January 2011, Patricia was named President & CEO, overseeing a continuum of services that includes 215 private rooms across five levels of care, 400 employees, and $75 million of facilities on a 65-acre campus in Omaha, NE. Patricia and QLI’s talented team of leaders have re-created the way rehabilitation is delivered to individuals with neurologic injury through a relentless dedication to QLI’s mission and its uniquely effective clinical model. Additionally, QLI has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in Omaha an unprecedented nine times, and the Best Place to Work for the Advancement of Women.

Jeff Snell, Ph.D.

Director of Psychology and Neuropsychology Services QLI

Dr. Jeff Snell currently serves as the Director of Psychology and Neuropsychology at QLI, a nationally recognized post-hospital rehabilitation center for individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries.

Dr. Jeff Snell holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Psychometrics Psychology from Northeast Louisiana University. He completed his doctorate in Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi, with a specialization in Clinical Psychology.  In 1998, Dr. Snell joined QLI’s clinical team, where he helped develop a nationally recognized rehabilitation model for individuals with neurologic injury. Dr. Snell brings extraordinary expertise and experience to facilitating recovery for individuals who have suffered a brain injury, spinal cord injury, or from chronic pain.

Dr. Snell has taught and guest lectured at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and the American Psychological Association. Dr. Snell has published peer-reviewed articles in the following professional journals: Journal of Medical Speech- Language Pathology, The Consultant Pharmacist, Communication Disorders Quarterly, Psychophysiology, Brain Injury, and the Journal of Anxiety Disorders. He has also contributed to several textbooks on brain injury and communication disorders. Dr. Snell presents regularly to clinical, insurance, case management and advocacy audiences throughout the United States.

About Our Host

Janyne brings nearly three decades of experience coaching leaders and their teams through the hard places, the resistance and conflict that comes with implementing large-and small-scale change, the conflict that comes from role confusion, misaligned goals, unclear processes and unmet expectations. From the C-Suite of the Fortune 100 to the micro-enterprise and non-profit executive, Janyne has helped a multitude of leaders around the world.

Janyne has delivered her message on five continents, including professional development initiatives and graduate programs in Germany, the Philippines, Burma, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo. From the executive team through the IS and HR teams and to the plant staff, her holistic approach taps into individual and organizational potential for increased integrity, aligning intent with action to build trust.

Janyne holds a Ph.D. in leadership from Trinity International University, and continued her executive studies at the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation. Janyne teaches on change leadership in Creighton University's MBA program, as well as teaching the doctoral seminar ‘The person of the Leader” for Tyndale University’s Doctor of Ministry Program.
